Exploring the Depths: Understanding Your Subject in Nature Photography

This photography workshop conducted by Photographer Drew Monthie, consists of a series of three Saturday sessions: June 15, June 29, and July 13. All sessions run from 10am-noon. The first session meets at 10am on June 15 in Lapham Gallery, followed by an exploration of nearby outdoor surroundings. The remaining two sessions will be held at locations designated by the instructor.

We will spend some time learning about plants and animals and ways to identify them, focus on shooting techniques, creativity and composing a great photo before editing. We will also spend time out in the field photographing subjects. Whether you take pictures with a smart phone or a dedicated camera, this course will help you further develop your photography skills for nature subjects.

$95 for LARAC members/$100 for non-members.
