Organizational Grants
LARAC is pleased to announce 36 grants to Warren and Washington County Not-for-Profit Organizations and Municipalities who were awarded grants for arts and cultural programs occurring in 2009
Individual Artist Grants
Congratulations to Jack DeGaetano, Gerry Holzman, Leslie Parke, and Leslie Peck who were awarded grants for work that impacts, reflects, or involves the community.

Funding for the above grants was provided by the New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency, supplemented by Warren County (towards Warren County Organizational Grants) and the Rivendell Foundation (towards Individual Artist Grants).

TOM MYOTT GALLERY The Tom Myott Gallery is located in the historic Troy Shirt Factory building on the corner of Lawrence & Curran Street in Glens Falls, New York. OPPORTUNITIES TAP GRANTS are available for up to $3000. Individuals, NYS schools, school districts, and non-profit cultural organizations may apply. NYS teaching artists who have been NYS residents for one year previous to the application deadline and are not matriculated in a degree granting program are also eligible to apply. Funding is for technical assistance to strengthen your arts-in-education partnerships in 4 categories: Partnership Planning and Collaboration, Arts-Integrated Curriculum Design, Program Evaluation and Student Assessment, & Professional Development and Capacity Building. SOS GRANTS,
a project of The Arts Center of the Capital Region and the New York Foundation for the Arts, is designed to help individual artists take advantage of unique opportunities that will significantly benefit their work or career development. Artists working in all disciplines (including literature, media arts, visual arts, music and theater) may request up to $600 for specific, forthcoming opportunities. These do not include works-in-progress. This funding cycle is for opportunities occurring between March 1 & June 30.
