Community Arts Organizations Grant

Programs must take place in 2019, be arts and cultural in nature, and open to
the public. Each organization may apply for 1-3 grant projects, with a minimum request of $300 per
proposal and a maximum total request of $5000 for all 1-3 projects. Programs in the past have
included dance performances, theater productions, concerts, historical programs, art/craft classes and
workshops, readings, and film series. Deadline OCT 26, 2018 at 4:00pm

Individual Artist Grant

For $2500, applicants must be 18 years old or over with their
primary residence in Washington or Warren County. The applicant must propose the creation of new
works of art that will be completed within 2019. The work must be artist initiated and involve the
community, reflect local culture. Artists who received an Individual Artist Grant for 2017 or 2018 are

Arts Education Grant

K-12 Program

Programs must take place in the 2019 calendar year, be arts and cultural in
nature, and meet for least three consecutive hands-on sessions. This grant is for grades K-12 and
requires sessions to either take place during the school day, with both the artist and cooperated
educator involved. Organizations as well as Individual Artists may apply, with a minimum request of
$300 and a maximum request of $5000. Programs in the past have included dance performances,
theater productions, concerts, and historical programs. Deadline OCT 26, 2018 at 4:00pm

Arts Education- K-12 Application

 

Community Based Learning Program

Programs must take place in the 2019 calendar year. This program is designed to support arts education projects in community-based settings, for youth or senior learners. There is a minimum requirements on three (3) contact sessions with the same teaching artist(s) and core group of students. Activities can take place in a venue such as a library, community center, senior center. Non profit organizations can apply directly for funds. A letter of support from the teaching artist is required. Individual artists or unincorporated entities may apply directly to this program by partnering with an eligible nonprofit organization. The applicant artist must reside in the same county as the partnering organization. Deadline OCT 26, 2018 at 4:00pm

NEW APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO MEET WITH THE GRANT COORDINATOR
Prior to applying for an overview and explanation of the grant process to be eligible to apply for a
2019 Grant. It is recommended that interested parties download and read over the application before
meeting with the Community Outreach Coordinator.


 

LARAC is looking for individuals with backgrounds in the arts and

knowledge of their community to serve on our funding grant panels.
