Featured Artwork by Johnsburg Central School Students

The Johnsburg Central School art students will have the chance to showcase some their best work under the direction of art teacher, Maria Glode. Featured art will include Identity Masks done by the Studio Art class, mosaics by the Art History class, and Artist’s Busts done by the eighth grade. The sixth grade is eager to show off their mixed media silhouette trees with water colored leaves done at the start of the year. Speaking of eager, second graders have used clay to make a room full of big mouth fish, while the seventh grade used clay to create bracelets and pendants. These works will be on display at the Widlund Gallery from March 1-31 with a reception on Friday March 11, 5-7pm. Join us for refreshments and prizes!
