Crazy Swedes is an electrifying instrumental rock fusion group. Their original compositions feature jaw-dropping improvisation combined with an amalgam of jazz, funk, and rock set against a solid groove. Crazy Swedes line-up features: guitarist Will Severin (Infinite Spectrum), keyboardist Rob Lindquist (New Regime), bassist Eric Schwanke (Sludge Factory, Thick) and drummer George Fortune (Rattail Jimmy).
A pure listening and visceral experience, Ampevene blends a free form frenzy, jagged riffs, and hypnotic rhythms together into a tight psychedelic sonic landscape that will trip up and trip out even the most experienced listeners. Ampevene draws influence upon renowned artists such as Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, TOOL, Mastodon, King Crimson, John Frusciante, and more, yet somehow manages to create something completely unique to their listeners.
