ADK Shakespeare presents SONGS OF THE IROQUOIS: TURTLE ISLAND and Traditional Arts Festival

An original play for children. Meet Sky Woman, Sea Turtle, Breath Of The Wind, and come hear the creation story of the Native Americans of the Adirondack Mountains. How did Sky Woman fall from Sky World? How did the earth come to be created on Sea Turtle’s back? How did Breath Of The Wind awaken the great West Wind? And how did the People come to be in the world?

After the show, join us for a FREE Arts & Crafts Workshop. In the afternoon, Mohawk Storyteller Kay Olan will tell more stories in the native tradition, and more!
