Children’s Art Workshops: Ages 5-8

Date/Time: 4/23/2019 - 4/26/2019 (10:00 am - 03:30 pm)

Treat your children to an art adventure during school break! The Hyde Collection’s half-day Children’s Workshops offer experiences to transport kids to a world of color and excitement.
From April 23 to 26, the children learn about the connections between our hometowns and identities, memories, and traditions. Inspired by A Magical World: The Art of Jacob Houston, an exhibition featuring the works of local artist Jacob Houston. He has painted sweeping views from his hometown of Greenwich, to big cities like New York City and Venice. My Hometown workshop participants will explore their hometowns, personal identity, and share memories through the creativity of art.

The workshops are offered in two sessions:
Ages 5 to 8 attend from 10 am to 12:30 pm
Ages 9 to 12 from 1 to 3:30 pm.

Sign your child up for one day, or for the entire week! Each day’s project stands alone. A single-day registration is $20 for Museum members and $25 for non-members; a full week is $60 for members and $80 for non-members.
