WHAT IS LARAC?
The Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council (LARAC) is an arts service organization for Warren, Washington and northern Saratoga Counties in New York State.  LARAC was formed in 1972 by a coalition of arts-minded residents, to unify the arts and cultural community and establish a cultural identity.  Each year LARAC expands programs and services, evolving in response to community needs.

In 1998, LARAC purchased a Victorian carriage house, located on Glens Falls City Park, renovating the space which opened in 1999 as home to the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council.

The building houses The Lapham Gallery, which features solo exhibitions throughout the year as well as a Holiday Shop from mid-November through December.  The LARAC facility includes administrative offices for LARAC and the Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra, as well as the year-round LARAC Shop and meeting spaces.
