Beverly Saunders has seen a life-long dream come
true with her recently opened frame shop, gallery, and studio in
Hoosick Falls. Over the years she worked in management, sales, and service in the custom framing industry which gave her the
experience to pursue her own business. The project was started in early spring,
with Bev working
tirelessly to clean out and make this space work for her new
business. It was officially opened in the first week in July and
the sign was hung on
Independence Day.
Her goal is to provide a professional service to
the area. This includes a great selection of frames with
competitive pricing and quality, friendly service. This shop also
includes space for her studio work. She has been working in
pastel creating landscapes, still life, and most recently animal
portraits.
The Gallery which currently shows Beverly's work in pastel is
available for Artists to show their work as a featured artist or
one or two pieces to represent their work. She encourages any
artist to contact her about exhibiting in the new gallery.
Future plans
include workshops in pastel and other mediums. Beverly
says, "Come
see me!" Hours are Wed.-Fri. 5-8 pm, Sat. 10-5, as well
as by appointment.
