The The Lake George Arts Project's current programs include:  The Annual Lake George Jazz Weekend, presenting internationally acclaimed jazz artists; the Courthouse Gallery, offering six to eight exhibitions per year of new work by emerging and established artists; weekly Summer Concerts at Shepard Park with contemporary but non-commercial music; special events including classical and jazz chamber music concerts; visual, writing and musical workshops; readings; and video presentations.

The Lake George Arts Project is also known for its creative and diverse fund raising events which include the Black Velvet Art Party in November; Bands and Beans, a chili and music fest in March; the Pig Out, with BBQ and music in July at the Stony Creek Inn; a cruise aboard the Horicon on Lake George in June; a golf tournament at the Sagamore Golf Course in September; and a variety of other events.

Admission to the Courthouse Gallery, Jazz Weekend, Summer Concerts, and many special events are free to the public.
