Judy Rosell lives in Clifton

Chinese Brush Painting at the Schenectady Museum. She has
studied with internationally known artists such as Robert Wade, Louise
Cadillac, Maxine Masterfield, Marilyn Phyllis Hughey, Barbara Nechis,
Judi Betts, Paul Lavelli, Don Andrews, Tom Lynch, Janet Walsh, Cheng
Khee Chee, as well as others.
LARAC first became aware of Judy
when she won LARAC's Cover Art Contest in 1995. She has
received awards in the Manhattan Arts International Competition twice,
the Albany Institute of Art and History, the Salmagundi Club and the
Museum of Art, both located in NYC. She has also had her award
winning print, Blue Mountain Lake, appear on the cover of the
New York Guide. Judy has been a finalist in the Artists
Magazine's National Competition.
Judy enjoys expressing herself in
a unique, creative and spontaneous manner, never wanting to over plan
her paintings. She continues to paint realistic as well as
abstract painting using watercolors, inks, and mixed media. She
follows her intuition and loves experimenting with vibrant colors, new
ideas and techniques.
