September 21-October 28, LARAC features the work
of five regional artists who draw inspiration from the mountains
that surround them, in an exhibit entitled Adirondack Muse.
Painters Marjorie Burns, Constance Dodge, and Eleanor Rowland,
join photographer Elizabeth Mangle and fiber artist Sandi
Cirillo, in displaying work created in, about, or inspired by
the Adirondack Mountains.
Eleanor showcases Lake George in her
retrospective series of watercolor and mixed media paintings.
Marjorie, from Keene, NY, offers a glimpse of her view of the
Adirondacks with her interior to exterior thematic paintings.
Elizabeth Mangle portrays moving water scenes in a painterly
photographic method. Constance Dodge explores the
nostalgic aspects of life in our local mountains through acrylic
montages. Sandi Cirillo uses felt as a medium to
illustrate the beauty of our natural environment.
