Performance, Voice, and Music Education from Anna Maria College in
Paxton, MA. She has taught elementary music and choir in both
Massachusetts and Florida public schools. In addition, she has extensive
experience performing in both Massachusetts and Florida, singing in many
choirs and vocal ensembles as well as solo performance in the form of
concerts and recitals, performing a wide variety of musical styles.
Since February 2004 Melodie has been living in the Adirondack region and
has founded "Melodie Studios" which provides private voice instruction
to students of all ages in the form of private lessons and group
classes. Melodie has been teaching voice lessons for over four
years and loves watching her students grow in their vocal development.
"Melodie Studios" students perform in two voice recitals per year, one
"Harvest Voice Recital" in November and another "Spring Recital" in
April. Students of "Melodie Studios" have been able to use the
technique they have learned in their voice lessons to audition for
musicals, choirs, vocal ensembles, college music programs, and many
other achievements. |
