RAY AND JOHN PALMER not only share family ties as
brothers, but they both share their love of nature, hiking and
photography. Ray lives in Schenectady and John in Bainbridge near
Oneonta, but their spare time is spent in the Adirondacks and western
U.S. national parks. Both men are skilled with their cameras and
capture wonderful vistas of areas such as the Adirondack Park, Chenango
County, Great Smokey Mountains, Arches National Park, Yellowstone
National Park, the Grand Tetons, and Glacier National Park. If you
love wild flowers or the wild life of these regions, both provide
spectacular shots of the flora and fauna that is found in these regions.
Their philosophy is captured by John, “. .
. photography has allowed me to capture rare moments and document the
striking beauty that appears and disappears in seconds. . . To share
with others and help bring an awareness and appreciation for this beauty
is what drives me."
Their work is for sale and can be seen up close and
personal at the Lapham Gallery as part of LARAC's annual Members Show,
which runs March 19-April 30. Their newly designed web sites will
awe you with their talents and the beauty they capture on film.
