Individual Artist Grants |
|
are seen as a way for artists to lead and direct
the creative process in their communities and to showcase the artist as a
community resource
- for the creation of NEW work that reflects community life, culture
and/or engages local communities in the work of the artist
- open to individual artists and crafts persons residing in Warren or
Washington County
- must be 18 years of age or older and may not be a full-time student
- for work created by a single artist (collaborative efforts are not
eligible through this grant tier)
- not open to anyone who received funding for this tier in 2007 or
2008
- historically grants have ranged from $1000 to $2500

will be available in July 2008.

forms in pdf format, which is recommended for an older computer or a Mac,
where the forms will not format properly. However, you will not be
able to fill it in on your computer.
THE APPLICATION YOU SUBMIT MUST MATCH IN SPACE AND LOOK
TO THE ONE PROVIDED ONLINE. REFORMATTED APPLICATIONS WILL BE RETURNED
TO BE REDONE.

workshops,
which provide

an overview of the grant writing
process
tips to creating strong applications
discussion of the
review process
clarification on the types of projects allowed
time for questions and answers |
Free, one-hour Individual Artist Application
Workshops will be announced in July 2008 |
