| Adirondack Children's Troupe
was founded in 1979 by Kate Blossom to provide theater experience for kids from elementary
school through high school. ACT is a not-for-profit corporation
run by a volunteer Board of Directors. Three productions are
presented per year. The fall production is cast with students in
grades 8 through 12, the spring production with students in grades 4
through 7, and the summer production with students who have competed
grades 5 through 8. Cast registration and ticket information may

| The Adirondack Theatre Festival is a
professional summer theater founded in 1995 to present new and
contemporary theater in the Glens Falls/Lake George region. The
Festival currently takes place in June and July and presents a wide
variety of plays, musicals, solo performers, and cabaret to audiences
for our community, the Albany capital District, and summer
residents. Besides presenting at least one world premier each
summer the Festival has been the first in our region to present
award-winning plays such as Art, Three Tall Women, and Wit. |

The Arts & Recreation Commission of Whitehall consists of two divisions.
The unique "Bridge Theater" is one division which features the performing
arts. The Cooke's Island Recreation/Arts Center (CIRAC) is the second division which is
dedicated to the creative arts and crafts as well as related recreational and historic entities. |

The Charles R. Wood Theater Theater was designed with the specific
mission of creating as much activity by as wide a spectrum of performing
groups as possible. Its 300 seats have been determined to be the optimal
number to generate performance nights, and its stage facilities are
suited to most (although not all) of the region's performing entities.
The spacious rehearsal area and proposed basement rehearsal/performance space will add to the
activity level.
The Design Team of Glens Falls' Joy McCoola & Zilch, P.C. as architects
and New York City's Minds Eye Consultants as theater consultants has
created a space which will be functional, flexible, and comfortable.
Besides the theater, the building will also
contain retail, office and rehearsal space, all consistent with the
economic development portion of the Project's goals.
You can help make the Woolworth Theater Project a reality. You can
contribute any amount, and in a variety of ways: Pledges, Cash
Contributions, Securities and Real Estate, Gifts-in-Kind, Estate
Bequests, and Matching Gifts. Gifts are tax-deductible within the
fullest extent of the law. Gifts can be unrestricted or designated for
specific purposes. Pledges may be made for a period of up to four years. |

New York State. Formerly known as The Glens Falls Operetta Club, it is

Home Made Theater is the resident theater company at the Spa Little
Theater in the Saratoga Spa State Park. In existence since 1985,
HMT produces four plays annually in their October through May season.
Dinner Packages are available with area restaurants. Groups are
welcome. Classes are offered for children and adults. |

The mission of The Hudson River Shakespeare
Company is to make available to residents of the area, as both
performers and auditors, works of classic literature, with emphasis on
the plays of William Shakespeare. We present three major
productions per year, two in the summer and one in January. In
addition, we present an annual Halloween poetry reading and occasional
special events. |

The Lake George Opera has been producing professional opera since
1960s, engaging both established major artists and singers at the
beginning of important careers. Founded at Diamond Point on Lake
George, the company now presents its major productions at the Spa
Little Theater in Saratoga Springs. The company boasts the
country's second oldest Apprentice Artist Training Program, selecting
eight singers each year from a national pool of applicants that
numbers over 650. Since the mid-1980s the company has had an
active Education Program which has grown significantly over the past
three years. Opera to Go brings a fully staged opera to
elementary school children throughout a seven county upstate area.
In 2002, over 12,000 students were able to experience live opera.
In 2003, the company debuts Opera a la Carte, which will bring
workshops, masterclasses, and concerts to middle and high school
students. |

Our Town Theatre Group (OTTG), located in North Creek,
NY, is a not-for-profit community theatre and a member of the American Association of Community Theatres.
Concentrating on full productions, a film series, play readings and workshops, the purpose of OTTG is to raise the visibility, appreciation and
accessibility of all the arts for the broadest possible spectrum of the community.
OTTG will move into a permanent performing space in North Creek's Tannery Pond Community Center in
April 2002. |

The Schuylerville Community Theater (SCT)
is a volunteer, non-profit organization devoted to promoting the
performing arts through educational and charitable activities. SCT
celebrates 25 years of theater performance and production opportunities
offered to its active members while bringing quality entertainment to
theatergoers of all ages. Distinguished for having produced musicals and
plays each year since 1980, SCT also offers a Childrens Summer Theater
Program to boys and girls ages 5 through 18 who wish to experience all
aspects of musical theater. SCT presents its productions at the
Schuylerville Jr./Sr. High School auditorium. To date, SCT has awarded
over $25,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors who wish to further
their education in the fields of performance arts and/or music education. |

The Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall is a small company with big
ambitions. Led by Artistic Director Kevin McGuire, an acclaimed
Broadway actor and singer who grew up in the area, TCHH performs a mix
of contemporary plays and classics, dramas and musicals, from Lewis
Carroll's Alice in Wonderland to Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd to Jean
Giraudoux's The Enchanted. In addition, the Theater Company offers
acting workshops for kids and adults, and a FREE Summer Shakespeare
Series staged outdoors in parks around the region. |

Youtheatre is a musical theatre workshop located in
Lake George, NY for students ranging in age from eleven to eighteen.
We produce three Broadway musicals in a four-week time frame. The
performers participate in all aspects of musical theatre including,
vocal, dance, stage direction and management, lighting, sound, scenic
design and of course acting. Our mission is based on the value of
learning and self discovery. We strive to build self confidence
and feelings of self worth. Productions are held at Lake George
